How to use your files

Everything you need to open, print and start using what you bought. If anything goes wrong, we’ll sort it out with you.

Download

  • Right after payment you get a download button and an email from Gumroad with the link. That link stays available.
  • If you create a Gumroad account with the same email, your files are also saved in your Library.
  • If you download everything at once, you get a .zip file. On iPhone it opens in the Files app; on Android, in your phone’s files app; on a computer, with a double-click.

Printing at home

  • Open the PDF and, in the print window, choose “Actual size” or “100%” so the margins don’t shrink.
  • A5 pages: print on A5 paper or, on A4 or Letter paper, choose “2 pages per sheet” and cut in half.
  • You can print as many times as you like, for personal or family use.

Printing at a print shop

  • Take the PDF on a USB stick or email it, and ask for it to be printed at actual size (100%).
  • For planners you can ask for ring binding, so it works like a notebook.

On a tablet (GoodNotes and Notability)

  • Download the PDF on your iPad or tablet, tap “Share” and choose GoodNotes or Notability.
  • The tabs and links take you to the right month or page. If they don’t respond while you’re writing, switch the app to read mode and tap again.

Notion

  • Open the instructions PDF that comes with the product and tap the template link.
  • Signed in to Notion (a free account is enough), tap “Duplicate” at the top. The template is now in your account to change as you like.

Excel and Google Sheets

  • Excel (Windows and Mac): open the file and type only in the marked cells; the totals work themselves out. If you see “Enable Editing”, click it.
  • Google Sheets: at drive.google.com, upload the file, open it and choose File → Save as Google Sheets.
  • Numbers (Mac): the formulas work, but the layout may look slightly different.

If something goes wrong

  • Can’t find the email: search your inbox for “Gumroad”, including Spam and Promotions.
  • The file won’t open on your phone: try a computer, or install a PDF or Excel app.
  • Still stuck: contact us through the shop where you bought (Gumroad or Etsy) and we’ll sort it out.
